"This is a review of the island circle tour. The ~11-hour tour starts with pick up from a location (depends on whether your accommodation is one of the designated pick up spots or not, if not, you'll go to the nearest pick up spot). Multiple pick up points are available depending on where you are staying in the island. Drew was our awesome tour guide.\n\nFirst stop was Greenwell Coffee Farm where we learned about coffee plants, processing, as well as the coffee leaf rust affecting these plants. We also learned about other plants and got to try world famous Kona coffee.\n\nNext stop was Punalu'u Bakeshop where I had delicious malasadas of different kinds. They have other types of pastries as well. We then went to Punalu'u Black Sand Beach. Learned about the black sand and was able to compare it with green sand (thanks to Drew!). I did not see a turtle when we went.\n\nWe had lunch at the Namakanipaio Campground. Lunch was included in the tour. It was teriyaki chicken, panko-crusted fish, white rice and purple sweet potato. There are vegan and gluten-free options which you have to specify when you do the registration online.\n\nVolcanoes National Park was next. Saw the Steam Vents, Kilauea Crater and went to Volcano House where there was again a different view of the crater. There are two gift shops and bar/restaurant in the Volcano House. We also walked the Nahuku Lava Tube which was super cool! Learned about different flowers and plants in the Big Island especially near the volcano area.\n\nWent up to Hilo and then to Rainbow Falls then 'Akaka Falls. Final stop was Waipio Valley Lookout which was gorgeous.\n\nSince the Big Island has different microclimates, the weather can be unpredictable. The company recommends wearing/bringing layers just to be prepared. I even brought a rain coat just in case but did not need it because the weather on that day was almost perfect except for some drizzling at the end which did not last that long. There are umbrellas and some windbreakers (I think) at the back of the van if needed. Our group did not need any of them. I recommend wearing comfortable clothing like a shirt, shorts/pants, and closed shoes (and bringing layers). The tour involves a significant amount of walking, some at areas that are not paved.\n\nOur tour guide Drew really made our experience memorable. Very knowledgeable about the history and the island, he had great energy and one would really felt that his heart is in what he does. He is dedicated, putting a lot of effort in making the tour a great experience for everyone. He put examples of the different flowers and some leaves in the coaster during the tour. He would also get samples of the rocks and sand and pass it around. We also saw different pictures that were relevant in the island in the van. His voice was animated and he had wardrobe changes. It's just like a performance which everyone appreciated. Everyone felt well taken care of. The van was very clean.\n\nHighly recommend. Really worth the money."

"Just wanted to see what was so Gourmet about some nuts. 1st of the place is very clean and orderly. The young lady that was helping me out was very attentive, patient, and informative. The Gourmet nuts were wonderful. A nice variety. They also had almond butter and honey. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who have free ti.e to spare. Even if you don't have free time, I highly recommend that you carve out 10-15 minutes. You won't regret it."
